The Little Leather Co. was born in 2013, in a city still getting back on its feet after devastating earthquakes two years prior. With a declining leather industry set back even further by the Christchurch earthquakes, Little Leather set out to produce something new and exciting and to keep skills alive in an aging workforce.
Worldwide, fashion is a typically homogenised, mass produced industry, pumping out items that will last one season. Little Leather isn't concerned with fashion. It's about style. Every Little Leather piece is made to order and carefully constructed to last beyond trends.
All Little Leather bags are designed and made from it's small workshop just north of Christchurch, New Zealand. Using beautiful, quality leather from around the world, and fur only from NZ, Little Leather crafts leather bags that are unique, functional, well made and designed to stand the test of time.

A mix of unique boys and girls clothes, made with stunning and hardwearing fabrics that will make your child look funky and fabulous!
I'm a Mum to two beautiful children who keep me very busy.
I started making kids clothing for friends as presents and had so much positive feedback that I've decided to start making them to sell.
I'm just a beginner sewer, and am enjoying the experience of learning so much and being creative, with so many ideas in my head that I'm trying to create.

Our floral and craft studio is a New Zealand, family owned business, situated in Tuahiwi, 20 minutes from Christchurch airport.
We provide a daily floral service, creating designs with fresh flowers and foliage. With more than 30 years floristry experience working in city shops, I decided it was time for a change. We opened our studio on our rural property just over 3 years ago.
With a particular focus on Maori crafts made in New Zealand, we have on display good examples of local artist's work including, carvings, harakeke weaving, paintings, jewellery, feltwork and handmade cards.
Please visit again,

Lavender Fields was initially planted in 1995 by Jim Curnow, when he was 64. This makes
it one of the earliest lavender farms in New Zealand. Angustifolia, Stoechas, and X Intermedia
were planted, with propagation and oil production in mind.
Jim’s daughter, Clare, and her husband Kevin have been involved
for much of this time, more extensively since 2010.
The still was commissioned in 1998. Clare has been manufacturing
her “Declare” range of products since 2011. These products all include Lavender Fields’
essential oils, and other carefully sourced oils and natural ingredients. No animal products,
parabens, sulphates or petro-chemicals are used.
Jim, played an active role in Lavender Fields, especially in the
distillation of the quality award winning essential oils, until he passed away aged 92 November the 19th 2014.
Clare and Kevin are carrying on Jim’s legacy, running the farm
and distilling the highest quality oils.

A culmination of life experiences.
Local and Global.
Shirley White was born in Zimbabwe, back when it was called Rhodesia.
As a young girl, Shirley migrated from Africa to Dunedin, New Zealand.
If anything is going to test your cross-cultural appreciation then perhaps this bold move was a sign of things to come.
Fortunately Shirley fell in love with the South Island.
Snow, sheepdogs, bush-walks, cheese rolls.
Shirley finished her schooling at Otago Girls and then completed her studies at Otago University.
She then found herself managing a retail fashion store, Farry's Fashions, in George Street, Dunedin and this provided an entry-point to the fashion industry and a lifelong passion was established. She spent 15 years in retail fashion in Dunedin including 4 years running her own boutique.
Since then Shirley has worked in Christchurch, Sydney and Melbourne.
In Sydney she managed stores of iconic brands, United Colors of Benetton and Guess Jeans (USA).
While based in Melbourne, Shirley managed high-end retail fashion store, Cose Ipanema, with European brands, Dries Van Noten, Comme Des Garcons and Girbaud.
After nearly 20 years in Australia, Shirley returned home to New Zealand to spend more time with her daughter, Selena, and grand-daughter, Sasha.
Nzulu was founded in 2018.
It represents an alloy of African heritage, love of New Zealand and a sensibility that endorses cross-cultural design aesthetics and ideas.
Shirley has hand-picked select items from designers she has sourced internationally.
Limited editions enable Nzulu to provide clients with unique pieces while remaining fresh and ever-changing as new designs enter the collection.
We hope you enjoy what's here.
And we look forward to what's around the corner
