Clearwater Spouting Ltd is a locally owned and operated company, not a franchise. We are based in Canterbury and provide our services Canterbury wide.Clearwater Spouting Ltd was set up in May 2003 by Chris Cleary. Chris is a plumber by trade since 1987, but decided in March 2000 to start specializing in the Spouting industry so joined a large Continuous Spouting company and after three years gaining valuable knowledge of the spouting industry decided to branch out on his own seeing the need for a more personal and professional service.
Chris purchased his first Continuous Spouting machine in 2003 and now has purchased a second machine. So we now have two mobile factories servicing the Canterbury region.
The Cave is a Functional Movement Facility. We don’t use machines as its our belief that the human body is the best machine there is! It’s our job to get our clients ‘machines’ functioning at their very best, through every day movements, full body fitness and a variety of strength, cardio and plyometrics. We are all about Whanau and our community; children (with a parent) are welcome to come a to all of our classes (apart from After Dark) and are also able to come along to their parents personal training sessions. We believe it’s inspiring for your little ones to see you train and we provide a Kids Zone where they can join in.

Cosgroves began in the year 2000, inspired by a Bank Manager friend who perceived Mark’s attention-to-detail and attention-to-people as a good fit for insurance. The timing was right, and with training and support from an industry mentor, Mark launched his own business in Christchurch’s CBD. Cosgrove Survival Specialists was born.
From small beginnings, the business grew progressively, not through advertising or ‘hard-sell’ but through good old-fashioned ‘word of mouth’ and hard work. Many successful referrals, together with the acquisition of a second brokering business in 2009 have led to further expansion. Today, with the support of three skilled administration staff, Cosgroves operates on the outskirts of Christchurch in a rural setting the team finds both relaxing and conducive to high productivity. A move initially brought about by the Canterbury earthquakes in 2011, the purpose-built offices and surrounding 11 acres are far removed from the ‘war zone’ that was once the city’s CBD. It’s from here that the Cosgroves team focusses on highly professional, individualised, and well thought out cover for their clients.
Cosgroves’ specialist focus is on business and farming. Ninety percent of the client-base are business owners; fifty percent of these are farmers. Clients are spread throughout the South Island; many coming as referrals via accountants and lawyers who rely on Cosgroves in-depth understanding of the diverse insurance needs of these clients. As an impartial consultancy firm, Cosgroves tailors an individualised plan to best protect business owners both professionally and personally.

At Cosgroves, we share a very positive outlook for a bright future, but we also know that ‘hoping for the best whilst preparing for the worst’ is the wisest form of future planning. Carol Moffatt is a New Zealander living in Kaiapoi, North Canterbury, New Zealand. She has painted in the water colour medium for several years.
In the last 7 years she has attended the Mitchell School of the Arts Summer and Winter Schools at Charles Sturt University, Australia. Through these workshops she has concentrated on technique, inspired by Alvaro Castegnet, Joseph Zbukvic, Herman Pekel and Amanda Hyatt .
In 2013 Carol had her first solo exhibition at the Culverden Art Gallery in North Canterbury. Private buyers have also showed interest and purchased her water colours as well.
Most of Carol’s paintings and inspiration comes from the Canterbury landscapes. This includes flowers which emerge from the earthquaked landscape. Her studio is situated at her home and she welcomes visitors by appointment.
The world around me is where I draw my ideas and inspiration from. Trees, mountains and water together with plants and flowers that live in the environment create my water colour world. The Canterbury environment is blessed with all these attributes and I feel privileged to live and paint in it.”

Cath Relaxology is a home based Reflexology practice offering relaxation treatments of Foot, Face, Hand and Ear Reflexology. Welcome to Cath Relaxology. I’m Cathy and my treatments are all about relaxation – something we all need! Reflexology is an amazing treatment I stumbled across several years ago while I was doing short interest courses at the Canterbury College of Natural Medicine. I couldn’t believe how relaxed yet energised I felt after a treatment. Anyway I started doing some research and liked the principal behind reflexology – that it has been used in some form or another by most cultures for many thousands of years. After finishing my diploma training I started my original practice in Moncks Bay back in 2010 and enjoyed having a regular return client base. The Feb 2011 earthquake shook us out of that area and we moved to Sydney mid 2011. I continued my reflexology practice in Neutral Bay at Encompass Health Centre and I also volunteered at The Mater Hospital in their Renal Dialysis unit, treating people while they were having dialysis. While in Australia I took the opportunity to continue learning and studied Facial Reflexology which is an amazing treatment devised by a Danish Reflexologist Lone Sorensen. I also did shorter workshops on infertility and pregnancy loss. In my Neutral Bay practice I had many pregnant clients some of whom used the Gentle Birth Method during their pregnancies. This involves regular reflexology to keep the body in balance and provide relaxation for the busy mum to be. Due to my husband’s work my family then moved to Singapore for the year of 2014. I didn’t have a work visa so used the year to experience different styles of Asian reflexology, including treatments in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. This enlightened my own practice in many areas so much so that when I returned to NZ I studied with Moss Arnold to begin learning Chi Reflexology – working with the Chinese meridians and energy flows throughout the body. So it’s time to set up practice once again in beautiful Sovereign Lakes in Kaiapoi. If you’ve never tried reflexology before and are curious then come along for a one hour treatment. I can assure you it will be one of the most blissful relaxation experiences you’ve ever had!
