My name is Paris I am 14 years old, and I go to Kaiapoi high school. I play netball, tennis and do karate. Once I finish school I am going to study to become a Pediatric nurse, I have wanted to do this since the age of 10.
I had the idea from my mum (Shelley) to make little Christmas trees, so I decided to follow mums' idea.
Half of the money I make goes towards my study. I can make just about any colour for you and they are all lit up with white or coloured lights (your choice) I sell them at markets and made to order.
They are all $25

A wee piece of Kiwi nostalgia inspired by retired New Zealand currency. Laser carving enhances the detail of each coin bringing them to life in a way not seen on the actual coins. Each coin comes beautifully packaged ready to gift or just to spoil yourself. Our coins measure approximately 190mm diameter with a depth of 18mm. This can vary due to wood variations, but will not be less than stated.Using solid New Zealand Rimu sourced from local timber merchants enables shipping to most countries, (you will need to check individual countries requirements before shipping). Is there a date that holds significance to you? Carol Moffatt is a New Zealander living in Kaiapoi, North Canterbury, New Zealand. She has painted in the water colour medium for several years.
In the last 7 years she has attended the Mitchell School of the Arts Summer and Winter Schools at Charles Sturt University, Australia. Through these workshops she has concentrated on technique, inspired by Alvaro Castegnet, Joseph Zbukvic, Herman Pekel and Amanda Hyatt .
In 2013 Carol had her first solo exhibition at the Culverden Art Gallery in North Canterbury. Private buyers have also showed interest and purchased her water colours as well.
Most of Carol’s paintings and inspiration comes from the Canterbury landscapes. This includes flowers which emerge from the earthquaked landscape. Her studio is situated at her home and she welcomes visitors by appointment.
The world around me is where I draw my ideas and inspiration from. Trees, mountains and water together with plants and flowers that live in the environment create my water colour world. The Canterbury environment is blessed with all these attributes and I feel privileged to live and paint in it.”
