Plunket sees more than 90% of newborn babies in New Zealand each year. Plunket offers parenting information and support as well as developmental assessments of your child.
Our nurses provide support through home and clinic visits, mobile clinics and PlunketLine, a free telephone advice service for parents. Call 0800 933 922, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Plunket also organises parent groups, parenting education, toy libraries, drop in centres, play groups, early childhood education and education in schools – most of which are available nationwide.
Sailing, we really want to help people get started in sailing, Stand Up Paddle and kayaking. We are creative, fresh, safe, active, fun around water.

We have two venues, Kaiapoi town centre on the river and at Lake Pegasus in Pegasus Town.

Kaiapoi North School opened in 1962 meaning that in 2012 we celebrated our 50th Jubilee. We are a “full primary” school catering for Year 1-8 children in our spacious, vibrant and well maintained school. As well as 21 classrooms we have a specialist music room, a welcoming library, a hall large enough for our whole school assemblies and a large, safe playground.
Previously Kidsfirst Charles St, the renamed Kidsfirst Kaiapoi North kindergarten is now based close to the domain and park to create a perfect kindergarten setting.
Your child can come to our kindergarten for up to 6 hours a day, Monday to Friday, during our 4 kindergarten terms.
