Art on the Quay - Kaiapoi Library - Williams Street

KYDz have pleasure in hosting ‘Kiwiana Summer Holiday’ Youth Art Exhibition - from 20th December, at Art on the Quay (Ruataniwha Kaiapoi Civic Centre)

An Art Exhibition with the theme 'Kiwiana Summer Holiday' organised by KYDz (Kaiapoi Youth Divisonz).

Participating schools; St Patricks, Kaiapoi North and Kaiapoi Borough Schools.

The exhibition will be on display in Art on the Quay, which is inside the Kaiapoi Library, from December 21st 2018 – February 6th 2019.

A must see over the Christmas holidays!

2nd March 2019 from 10am to 4pm - at the Kaiapoi Food Forest on the corner of Cass and Meadow St Kaiapoi
We are organising a wide range of activities and stalls, healthy foods, herbal teas, herbal remedies, skincare, massage, reflexology, plus lots of demonstrations ie cooking classes, pilates, tai chi, yoga and so much more.
The Food Forest is the perfect location for such a festival, a place where you can relax, recharge, a place to forage for healthy food, a place to connect with family & friends a a great place to picnic…

Sunday 3rd of March, 10.30am

The ‘TOP team’ challenge which is run by Sport Canterbury and involves team based activities that promote initiative, problem-solving and communication skills promises to be just as fun. A mixture of water activities, mazes, sacks and ski races just to name a few

Teams of 4 (all must be aged 15 or over) or teams of 5 (mixed team of adults and children no minimum age, providing there are adult team members, young children will be fine)$10.00 per team to enter.

There is fantastic prize money up for grabs. $150 first, $120 second and $60 third. You Me We us will also be handing out spot prizes on the day.

The KPA Breakfast Club is open to CURRENT members of the KPA - non members can attend one meeting before deciding to join.

It does have a business focus and is proactive in building strong relationships within the businesses of Kaiapoi Township. It is not limited to just one of category but on a supportive fellowship ethos.

The meetings are structured and run on several different formats as determined by the attendees. Timed to start at 7.00 am with a finish at 8.30 am. They are described as efficient, effective and fun.

Our meetings are flexible and can feature any of the following sections dependent membership requests.

  • A guest speaker giving a content rich no sales pitch informative presentation on a topic relevant to the membership.
  • Where regular members have the opportunity to present to the group with an allocated 10mins to discuss their business on a rational system.
  • Brainstorming - where a member has submitted an email around a matter or challenge that they are facing and wish to ask for comment or support from the membership of the breakfast club.
  • Kaiapoi Community focused updates of what is happening in the Kaiapoi Community.

The Breakfast Club will hold meetings on the following dates.

Members have the opportunity to attend as many breakfast club meetings as they want and as often as they want, as it is open to all members and not category limited.
